In the Pera Kids workshops, participants discover arts with the inspiration they draw from the Pera Museum’s collections and temporary exhibitions. After an exhibition tour supervised by an educator, children in the workshop experience interactively exhibitions and the artists’ works by seeing, touching, and smelling them.
Children in the age group 4-6 engage in creative practices such as paraffin, collage, clay, sculpture, relief, papier-mâché, puppetry, portraiture, dipped candle, abstract photography, and designing musical instruments by using waste materials.
Furthermore, in the workshops, children’s museum consciousness and aesthetic skills are improved by enabling them to experience the museum as a living space through games, role-playing, and improvisations.
