Presents Dutch Animation: il Luster

Michiel Snijders is a producer and owner of il Luster Productions and has written and directed several commissioned works. il Luster Productions is the most active and dynamic animation production company in the Netherlands. The company is involved in both independent and commissioned films and series, with activities ranging from concept and consultancy to writing, production and distribution. Snijders’ short experimental film Surveillance Room is a result of an old obsession with narrative structures and the close relationship those structures hold with the working of the human brain. Deep inside the body of this animation producer beats the heart of a film theorist and dramaturgist. Snijders will present animated recent shorts as well as an insight into il Luster and the Netherlands’ animation industry.

The masterclass will be held in English with Turkish simultaneous translation.
