In the 60s young people thought they could change the world; at least in some parts of the world. Not exactly in Quito, Ecuador, the period in which the action is set for this film. Four characters, Galo Gálvez, his fiancée, the Author and Rosana are torn in a battle between sex and politics. The film is a chronicle about "reality" - that of the country- but it also tells presents two angles of a love story: the tragic one between Gálvez and his loved one, and the platonic ties between the Author and Rosana, wife of a rich landowner.
