This documentary tells the strange story of Manolo and Lalo, two obsessed fans with the terror cult-film “Alucarda”, which they believe is a representation of their lives. In their research they find the film´s director, Juan Lopez Moctezuma in a mental hospital suffering from amnesia. They kidnap him for three days. They show him his films and take him to the locations he shot his films, which eventually bring back his memory. An unclassifiable film that uses interviews, stock shots and recreations of a past that may only have existed in the nightmares of its protagonists!
