HOSODA Mamoru

Born in 1967, HOSODA Mamoru entered Toei Doga (currently Toei Animation Co., Ltd.) in 1991. Since then, he has created a variety of works. He directed a film, SUPERFLAT MONOGRAM, for Louis Vuitton in 2003, and became freelance in 2005. In 2006 he made a theatrically released feature film, The Girl Who Leapt through Time, winning a number of awards. In the summer 2009, he directed Summer Wars.
