Children’s Rights! Short Films

"Righteous Television" project organized by Amnesty International Turkey with Maltepe University, Istanbul Bilgi University and İstanbul Marmara Foundation for Education has been realized to commemorate the 20th year of the Children's Rights Act (CRA). The project with two steps was devised to create awareness and acknowledgment for human rights. The first step took place at the Maltepe region in schools where the children were given information on the CRA. Those who voluntarily wanted to take part in the summer camp were taken in and as a result throughout the summer camp, they were given books, postcards and illustrations. The second step evolved of approximately voluntary 100 children in attendance where they were given hands-on film seminars as well as lectures on human rights issues. The Pera Film program consists of the 20 films made by these children.

The screenings are free of admission.
