Documentarist İstanbul Documentary Days

DOCUMENTARIST - Istanbul Documentary Days, the third edition this year, takes place between June 22nd to the 27th. The program sheds light to the Balkan countries' documentaries as well as to Poland with themed documentaries on "the urban city life." Also recent documentaries from the Swiss, Dutch and Danish take part in the film program.

Within the theme 'City and Cinema " urban life problems are discussed and acknowledged with films from Mumbai, Cairo, Shanghai and Bogota. In the selection is the recent film series "Cities on Speed" along with the lesser known works of such masters as Jean Vigo, Krzysztof Kieslowski, Walter Ruttman, Johan van der Keuken.
