Panel Story of the Bosphorus of 150 Years

On the occasion of the exhibition From Konstantiniyye to İstanbul Photographs of the Anatolian Shore of the Bosphorus from the Mid XIXth to the XXth Century, opened on 21 January 2012, a panel will be held by the curator Dr. M. Sinan Genim, Prof. Dr. İlber Ortaylı, Prof. Dr. Baha Tanman and Engin Özendes, who will discuss through the photographs of the Bosphorus how İstanbul changed from Tanzimat to the early Republican era in terms of history, architecture, urbanism, daily life and history of photography.
