Istancool at Pera Museum

Once again, Istancool 2011 will feature leading cultural personalities from Turkey and other parts of the world and one of the festival venues is Pera Museum.

On Saturday, May 28th at 13:00, Michael Stipe presents his ‘Collapse Into Now' film project, a series of short films made by artists including Sam Taylor Wood and Sophie Calle to accompany each of the songs on R.E.M.'s most recent album.

In parallel to "İstancool at Pera Museum", Pera Film presents highlighted films of Terry Gilliam's (The Adventures of Baron Munchausen, Doctor Parnassus, and 12 Monkeys). The screening on Sunday, May 29th at 14:00 will be held with the participation of the director.
