Pera Museum begins a new concerts series: Little Night Music Concerts
Programmed in collaboration with Mehmet Mestçi, this chamber concert series “Little Night Concerts” begins Thursday 28th February with Nusret İspir and Selen Akçora’s Clarinet Duet.
The concept of the series is based on the idea that each performance will increase with a performer; as in duet, trio, quartet, quintet, sextet, septet, and octet. The first concert is significant because its program includes pieces of composers who were also clarinetists; the performers İspir and Akçora are among the best clarinetists in Turkey.
The concert starts at 19:30 and will take place on the second floor of the museum where the Orientalist Painting Collection Exhibition “Intersecting Worlds: Ambassadors and Painters” is on view.
The second concert of this series will be a string trio - Sevil Ulucan Weinstein, Beste Tıknaz Modiri and Erman İmayhan. The performance will be on the 19th March Tuesday.
Concert tickets are 15 TL and will be available on the day of the concert after 18:00. 7 TL for Friends of Pera Museum, seats are limited and unnumbered.
