Csontvary Exhibition Education Program

In this program, children embark upon a colorful journey that extends from the city into the countryside with the works of great Hungarian master Tivadar Csontváry.

Focusing on the countries that Csontváry visited throughout his life, the program describes the natural setting of these lands and the artist's experience in each country. The program also demonstrates how these experiences are reflected in Csontváry's emotional world and the works he created.

During the nearly two-hour-long activity designed for children between the ages of 6 and 13, the participants study the artist's paintings in which he portrayed the landscapes, cities, and people of different countries. In addition, they depict the light, colors, and nature in their creative minds into their own works by using different media such as gouache and pastels.
